Spring into Tawa started in the year 2000, established by local business owners keen to
have a market day in the main shopping area. In 2016, the Ratepayers and Progressive
Association rebranded as Vibrant Tawa and sought to refresh the local market
day. An
organising committee was
formed to grow the event.
