fuel economy

Fuel economy is one of the most important things to consider when you are buying a new car. The plus side to the tightening of emission regulations is that fuel economy also comes as a by-product of it. The top 5 most economical cars are 1 Toyota Carola, 2 the Volkswagen Passat, 3 the BMW 3 series, 4 the Toyota RAV4, 5 Skoda Superb .one thing that all of these cars have in common is that the Manufacturers offer them, in a hybrid variant (more about a hybrid on next paragraph). Sohow to tell if a car is economical. To easily work out if a car is economical look for the fuel economy sign (image on the right).

diesel vs petrol

One thing that does contribute to Fuel economy is the type of fuel the vehicle runs on, for example, a diesel engine is more economical for a truck because a truck is big and heavy and needs lots of torque to pull it up a hill. Petrol engines are usually used in cars because they provide better fuel economy when driving around town because diesel engines need time to provide that fuel economy they also produce lots of smog and a typically noisier than petrol engines. Something that you may not have considered is a hybrid they hybrid market is making an upcoming because of recent advances in battery technology.

Star safety rating

One of the most important things to consider when buying a car is the safety rating of the vehicle. We all know that when a car crashes it does not look pretty but the reason for this is because the car is designed to crumple. A car is designed to crumple because when two cars collide they both exchange force according to nutrition third law “whenever two objects interact, they exert equal and opposite forces on each other”. This means that when the car crumples it is using up all the force that is traveling through the car. When buying a car all ways remember the more stars the better.
